Questo Rythmique Gymnastique (“Questo”, “we”) operates questo.ca. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information, in accordance with Quebec’s Law 25 and Canada’s PIPEDA.
1. Person in charge of personal information
The club’s management acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question or request: info@questo.ca or 514 974‑0305.
2. Information we collect
- Contact form: name, email address and the content of your message.
- Registrations: class, camp and trial registrations are handled through Activity Messenger (activitymessenger.com), which collects on our behalf the parent’s and child’s names, contact details, the athlete’s date of birth and payment information. Payments are processed by Activity Messenger and its providers; we never store card numbers.
- Photos and videos: photos and videos of training sessions, shows and competitions may be published on our website and social media, with consent obtained at registration.

3. Children’s information
Our services are for children and teens aged 4 to 18. We collect information about minor athletes only from their parent or guardian, with explicit consent. A parent may withdraw consent (including for photos/videos) at any time by writing to us.
4. How we use your information
- Managing registrations, groups and billing;
- Communicating with you (schedules, cancellations, events);
- Ensuring athlete safety;
- Promoting club activities (photos/videos, with consent);
- Meeting our legal and federation obligations (Gymnastique Québec, Gymnastics Canada).
5. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your information. It may only be shared with:
- Activity Messenger (registration and payment platform, Quebec);
- Our web host and Cloudflare (site security and performance);
- Gymnastique Québec / Gymnastics Canada (affiliation and competitions);
- Authorities, where required by law.
Some providers (e.g., Cloudflare) may store data outside Quebec or Canada. We ensure they provide adequate protection.
6. Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described, then securely destroyed or anonymized. We apply reasonable safeguards (HTTPS encryption, restricted access) to protect your information.
7. Your rights
At any time you may: request access to or correction of your information; withdraw your consent; request that we stop disseminating information (de-indexing); file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec. Write to info@questo.ca — we respond within 30 days.
8. Privacy incidents
If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the affected individuals and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as required by law.

We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page with its update date.
